Overnight Direct Support Electronic Monitor
About The Position
GoodLife Innovations is seeking an iCoach to use iLink camera and sensor technology from its Remote Support Center to support adults with disabilities living in monitored homes and the staff who provide their direct care. This is an on-site office position. The iCoach monitors individuals’ safety and supervision, provides remote assistance to staff, and dispatches onsite or on-call staff when needs or safety concerns arise. The role requires staying awake and alert throughout the shift and making sound judgments while supporting assigned locations. GoodLife Innovations is a nonprofit organization serving adults with disabilities across Kansas. It provides community living services, supports, and technologies, including virtual support technology and professional caregivers in nearby neighborhoods. Its mission is to redefine what is possible, make a meaningful difference, and transform lives.
Requirements
- Must understand technology and be a quick learner.
- Must enjoy multitasking while supporting assigned locations.
- Must be able to stay awake and alert for the entire shift.
Nice To Haves
- Previous direct support or caregiving experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the safety and supervision of individuals living in iLink-monitored settings.
- Support individuals served and dispatch onsite or on-call staff when safety concerns arise.
- Answer staff questions and help them obtain necessary supports.
- Remain awake and alert and make sound judgments to ensure the safety of monitored individuals.
