About The Position

Parkwest Casino is seeking an experienced Overnight Kitchen Cleaner (Dishwasher/Heavy Cleaning) to clean and sanitize kitchen and restaurant areas. The role supports cleanliness and safe operations in a 24/7 casino and restaurant environment and requires working varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, on-call periods, and overtime when needed. Candidates must pass a background check and drug test, possess a California Food Handler Card, and be at least 21 years of age. A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred, but no specific education is required. One to two years of kitchen experience in a comparable-quality establishment is preferred but not required. The position requires lifting and carrying tools, supplies, and inventory weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as repetitive hand use involving grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling, and reaching throughout the shift. Work may involve excessive noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, and extreme temperatures, humidity, or wetness. Essential duties must be performed with or without accommodation.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain floor mats and drains, including use of degreaser.
Wash, degrease, and scrub all floors.
Clean exhaust hoods and removable vents, and keep stoves, ovens, salamanders, grills, and fryers clean.
Wash, sanitize, and polish stainless-steel equipment and countertops, including equipment legs and the inside and outside of shelves.
Maintain the cleanliness of floors, walk-ins, freezers, drains, floor mats, grease traps, and garbage disposals.
Operate the dishwashing machine and perform kitchen washing services to required performance standards and in accordance with policies, procedures, work instructions, training initiatives, codes of conduct, and other directives.
Empty trash containers, clean kitchen facilities, assist with inventories, and perform assigned duties in other kitchen areas as needed.
Work any shift, including weekends, holidays, on-call periods, and overtime when needed, supporting a 24/7 environment.
Immediately report unsafe conditions or machine malfunctions to the immediate supervisor and/or department head.
Use equipment, supplies, and facilities properly and economically.
Maintain the assigned work area in a clean and safe condition.
Represent Parkwest Bicycle Casino appropriately and maintain cultural sensitivity in all contacts.
Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
