About The Position

Parkwest Bicycle Casino is seeking a Countroom Cashier Lead for its Cage Department. The Lead coordinates Countroom operations and works closely with Security regarding drop box pulls, performing duties personally or through subordinate team members. The role is full-time and may require any shift in a 24/7 industry, including weekends and evenings. The listed pay range is $19.00 to $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

Pass mandatory screening, including a background check and drug test.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Deal effectively and interact well with coworkers.
Resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically and tactfully.
Be available for full-time work, which may include weekends and evening scheduling, and be ready for all tasks.
Communicate clearly with team members.
Have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Work independently and within a team environment.
Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Have at least one year of cash-handling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Be able to use a 10-key adding machine.
Be able to work in a loud, noisy environment.
Be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory weighing up to 25 pounds.
Be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Banking or casino experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Ensure the accuracy and security of the drop box count.
Tabulate and post totals in the computer system, reconcile each assigned box’s contents by game, and present a daily report for each count.
Train new Countroom Cashiers.
Maintain the security of the Countroom at all times.
Conduct Cage chip runs to several cages.
Collect racks for the count at the beginning of the shift as needed.
Perform shredding when assigned by supervisors.
Monitor Countroom equipment needs and recommend repairs or replacement as necessary.
Maintain a safe work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
