About The Position

Parkwest Bicycle Casino is hiring a Countroom Cashier Lead in its Cage Department. The role coordinates Countroom operations and works closely with Security regarding drop box pulls. The lead may perform duties personally or through subordinate team members. The position is full-time and may require working any shift in a 24/7 operation, including weekends and evenings.

Requirements

Pass mandatory screening, including a background check and drug test.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Interact effectively with coworkers and resolve problems or conflicts diplomatically and tactfully.
Be available for full-time work, which may include weekends and evening scheduling, and be ready for all tasks.
Communicate clearly with team members.
Have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Be able to work independently and within a team environment.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
At least one year of cash-handling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to use a 10-key adding machine.
Ability to work in a loud, noisy environment.
Ability to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory weighing up to 25 pounds.
Ability to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Banking or casino experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Ensure the accuracy and security of the drop box count.
Tabulate and post totals in the computer system, reconcile each assigned box’s contents to its game, and present a daily report for each count.
Train new count room cashiers.
Maintain the security of the Countroom at all times.
Conduct Cage chip runs to several cages.
Collect racks for the count at the beginning of the shift as needed.
Perform shredding when assigned by supervisors.
Monitor Countroom equipment needs and recommend repairs or replacement as necessary.
Maintain a safe work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
