About The Position
Planet Fitness is seeking energetic, enthusiastic Overnight Front Desk Team Members passionate about health and fitness. The role serves members and team members in person, by phone, and in writing; follows verbal directions and written scripts for member services; uses technology to assist members; and helps maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming club environment. Team members must complete CPR and AED certification and be able to perform CPR and use an AED. The position may include nights, weekends, and holidays, and requires the physical activities listed in the posting.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Service-oriented and able to resolve member concerns.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Upbeat attitude.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Initiative and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to talk and hear.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel.
- Ability to repetitively reach with arms and hands, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, and twist.
- Ability to occasionally lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with members and team members in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Follow verbal communication and directions from members, team members, and supervisors.
- Follow written communication, including prepared scripts for information calls, tours, cancellations, and rate reviews.
- Use different types of technology to service members.
- Obtain CPR and AED training certification, perform CPR, and use the AED machine.
- Understand and demonstrate exercise equipment to members.
- Clean and maintain restrooms, locker areas, showers, Black Card Spa amenities, entryways, club floors, and exercise equipment.
- Perform cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, wiping, disposing of trash, and handling chemicals.
- Comply with safety and sanitization guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
