About The Position
Planet Fitness is seeking energetic and enthusiastic Seasonal Front Desk Team Members who are passionate about health and fitness. The role supports members and team members in person, by phone, and in writing; uses technology to provide member services; and helps maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming club environment. Team members must complete CPR and AED certification and may need to perform CPR and use the AED. The position requires a service-oriented attitude, reliability, communication skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Service-oriented and able to resolve member concerns.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to talk and hear.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel.
- Ability to repetitively reach with arms and hands; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, and twist.
- Ability to occasionally lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with members and team members in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Follow verbal communications and instructions from members, team members, and supervisors.
- Follow written communications, including prepared scripts for info calls, tours, cancellations, and rate reviews.
- Use different types of technology to service members.
- Obtain CPR and AED training certification.
- Perform CPR and use the AED machine.
- Understand exercise equipment and demonstrate its use to members.
- Clean and maintain restrooms, locker areas, showers, Black Card Spa amenities, entryways, club floors, and exercise equipment.
- Perform cleaning tasks including mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, wiping, disposing of trash, and handling chemicals.
- Comply with safety and sanitization guidelines.
- Perform other assigned duties.
