About The Position
Planet Fitness is seeking energetic and enthusiastic Seasonal Front Desk Team Members who are passionate about health and fitness. The role supports members and team members through in-person, phone, and written communication, follows verbal and written instructions and prepared scripts for member services, and uses technology to assist members. Team members must certify in CPR and AED training, perform CPR and use the AED when needed, and understand and demonstrate exercise equipment. The position also includes cleaning and maintaining restrooms, locker areas, showers, Black Card Spa amenities, entryways, club floors, and exercise equipment, while following safety and sanitization guidelines. Requirements
- Service-oriented and able to resolve member concerns.
- Basic computer proficiency.

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Initiative and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to talk and hear.
- Use of hands and fingers to handle or feel.
- Ability to repetitively reach with arms and hands, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, and twist.
- Ability to occasionally lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with members and team members in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Follow verbal communications and instructions from members, team members, and supervisors.
- Follow written communications, including prepared scripts for information calls, tours, cancellations, and rate reviews.
- Use different types of technology to service members.
- Obtain CPR and AED certifications, perform CPR, and use the AED machine.
- Understand exercise equipment and demonstrate its use to members.
- Clean and maintain restrooms, locker areas, showers, Black Card Spa amenities, entryways, club floors, and exercise equipment.
- Perform cleaning tasks including mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, wiping, disposing of trash, and handling chemicals.
- Comply with safety and sanitization guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
