Overnight Freight Clerk
About The Position
Bi-Mart is seeking dependable, hardworking team members for its Overnight Freight Team. Overnight Freight Clerks receive and organize inventory, unload freight, stock merchandise, and prepare the sales floor for the next business day. The role involves moving merchandise throughout the store, maintaining an organized backroom, and ensuring products are accurately placed and displayed. Team members work independently and collaboratively to meet nightly freight goals while maintaining safety, accuracy, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. This is an overnight position, typically scheduled for four 10-hour shifts per week; days and hours may vary by location, workload, and operational needs.
Requirements
- Dependability, excellent attendance, and punctuality.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move merchandise throughout the shift.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safe work practices and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, warehouse worker, or in another retail position.
- Experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, or Albertsons.
