About The Position

The Overnight Closer (Member Services Representative) creates a positive experience for Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests by providing a high level of customer service. The role handles front-desk activities, closes the business day’s shift, and prepares an accurate bank deposit for the next day. The position requires the ability to work overnight (third shift).

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Basic computer proficiency.
Upbeat and positive attitude.
Punctuality and reliability.
Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers.
Strong listening skills, empathy, and problem-solving ability.
Demonstrate diplomacy and use appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.
Ability to work third shift (overnights).
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests and provide exceptional customer service.
Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
Check members into the system.
Sign up new members.
Take prospective members on tours.
Facilitate updates to members’ accounts.
Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating them to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
Help maintain the club’s neatness and cleanliness.
Close the shift for that business day.
Prepare a bank deposit for the next day.
