About The Position

The Overnight Closer (Member Services Representative) creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role handles front desk activities, closes the business day’s shift, and prepares an accurate bank deposit for the next day.

Requirements

Customer service background preferred.
Basic computer proficiency.
Passion for fitness and health.
Upbeat and positive attitude.
Punctuality and reliability.
Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers while exceeding member expectations.
Strong listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
Diplomacy in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to work third shift (overnights).
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Continual standing and walking during the shift.
Continual talking in person or on the phone during the shift.
May occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during the shift.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
Check members into the system.
Sign up new members.
Give tours to prospective members.
Facilitate updates to member accounts.
Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating matters to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
Assist in maintaining the club’s neatness and cleanliness.
Close the shift for the business day.
Create a bank deposit for the next day.
