About The Position

Homewatch CareGivers of Austin is hiring overnight in-home caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Health Aides (HHA), and Personal Care Providers. Caregivers work with a small group of clients and consistent overnight schedules, typically from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., in Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Lakeway, and West Lake Hills. Full-time and part-time schedules are available. The role involves supporting clients in their homes overnight, helping them stay safe and assisting with personal care and household tasks. Caregivers receive training through Caregiver University, including specialized training, and in-person support and check-ins from a care coordinator. The position pays $17.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

One or more years of caregiving experience in home care or a skilled facility.
Comfort working overnight and staying awake throughout the shift.
Reliable transportation to and from shifts.
Ability to pass a background check.
Compassionate, reliable, and comfortable working independently.

Nice To Haves

CNA, HHA, or PCP certification preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Stay awake and alert throughout overnight shifts to keep clients safe at home.
Assist clients with bathroom trips, transfers, and repositioning during the night.
Help with evening routines at the start of shifts and morning routines at the end.
Reassure and redirect clients who wake up confused or disoriented.
Handle laundry, light housekeeping, and meal preparation during quiet hours.
Report changes in a client's condition to the care team.
Complete 12 hours of annual training through Caregiver University.
