About The Position

This is an entry-level, non-skilled general labor position responsible for sanitation work in any department. The role requires maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. Sanitation work uses bleach and other cleaning chemicals and takes place in extreme hot, cold, humid, and wet environments. The schedule is Monday through Friday and possibly Saturday, from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Previous Tyson employees must wait 180 days before rehire and are subject to a three-time limit.

Requirements

• Be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Some positions require the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Work in extreme hot, cold, humid, and wet environments.
• Use hands and arms above shoulder level.
• Stand or walk for 8–10 hours per day.
• Climb stairs to and from work areas.
