About The Position

This is an entry-level, non-skilled general labor position in Processing/Harvest sanitation. The position is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Employees may work in any department of Sanitation and must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. The sanitation process uses bleach and other cleaning chemicals.

The schedule is C Shift, Monday through Friday and/or Saturday, from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Some positions require the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Must be able to work in extreme hot, cold, humid, and wet environments.
• Must be able to use hands and arms above shoulder level.
• Must be able to stand or walk for 8–10 hours per day.
• Must be able to climb stairs to and from work areas.
• Must be able to work with bleach and other cleaning chemicals.
