About The Position

This position is responsible for operating and maintaining refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Refrigeration maintenance crews work six days per week with two rotating days off. Schedules include Sundays and some major holidays. Candidates must take a facility tour before accepting a job offer. Candidates who previously worked for Tyson are subject to a 180-day rehire waiting period and a three-time rehire limit.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of ammonia refrigeration or boiler room experience, or 12 months of mechanical work experience in lieu of refrigeration experience.
• Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must take a facility tour before accepting a job offer.

Nice To Haves

• Welding experience is preferred.
• Mechanical inclination.
