About The Position

Thryv is hiring an Outside Software Account Representative to increase engagement and sales among existing software clients and grow its SaaS client base through new sales. The role manages relationships with assigned clients, identifies opportunities for additional sales or expanded product use, and develops new business through self-generated and company-initiated prospecting. The representative is responsible for meeting a predetermined sales quota and conducts more than 50% of their work outside their home office, including a 50% driving requirement. The representative educates prospects through the buyer’s journey, explains Thryv’s software solutions, and helps local businesses understand how the platform can support their growth. They execute required operational processes, including client and prospect engagement cadences, product and demo certifications, and order-entry requirements. The role also involves sales meetings, call calibrations, training, and collaboration with marketing and technology teams on sales strategy and product enhancements or launches. Thryv provides an end-to-end client experience platform for small businesses, with tools including CRM, SEO, marketing, online invoices and receipts, text messaging, email marketing, and print and social media management. This is a remote-first, work-from-anywhere company, though the representative must live within a one-hour commute of the posted city, have a suitable home office and high-speed internet, and be able to work in the field. The stated on-target earnings for pay area 1 (the U.S. national average) are $96,800 per year. The final offer may vary based on location, local market factors, candidate experience and expertise, and assigned book of business.
