About The Position

Thryv is hiring an Outside Software Account Representative to grow and expand its SaaS client base among local businesses. The representative builds a sales pipeline through self-generated and company-initiated prospecting, meets a predetermined sales quota, and may receive current Thryv clients in their book of business to pursue additional growth opportunities. The role involves prospecting and qualifying new opportunities in an assigned territory and identifying local business owners who are a good fit for Thryv’s platform. More than 50% of the work is conducted outside the home office. The representative helps prospects understand how Thryv’s software can grow their businesses, guides them through the buyer’s journey, and works to secure new SaaS clients. They follow established operational processes, participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training, and partner with marketing and technology teams on sales strategy as products are enhanced or introduced. The position requires local residence within a one-hour commute of the posted city, a valid driver’s license, and personal transportation. Thryv provides digital marketing and AI-powered software for small businesses, including listings management, website building, Google Business Profile optimization, reputation and review management, social media management, lead insights, and ad budget optimization. The company describes itself as a work-from-anywhere organization and emphasizes employee belonging, fairness, equal opportunity, and collaboration. The stated on-target earnings for pay area 1 (the U.S. national average) are $96,800 per year; the final offer may vary based on location, local market, experience, expertise, and assigned book of business.
