About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to generate profitable business from the equipment offered by the assigned profit center. The representative develops an assigned territory, implements sales plans to grow the business and maintain the current customer base, and helps build Sunbelt’s national brand identity. The role offers opportunities to apply cold-calling and closing skills in a high-demand market and to develop toward a sales or operational management career track.

Requirements

• A four-year college degree in a related field and at least one year of related experience, or three to four years of related sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Strong project management, new business development, and customer retention skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Solid computer skills.
• Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors as required by the job.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of ground protection, construction, or specialty industrial equipment.
• Spanish bilingual ability may be preferred in some locations.
