About The Position
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support telephone and walk-in customers renting construction and industrial equipment. As a frontline customer contact, the representative identifies equipment needs, negotiates terms, and places orders. The position requires strong administrative skills and a professional attitude to deliver customer satisfaction. It offers steady hours, potential overtime, on-the-job training, and potential career growth through outside sales or operational management tracks. The role may involve working indoors or outdoors as required by the job.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Familiarity with various types of construction and industrial tools and equipment.
- Strong customer service and telephone skills.
- Solid computer and administrative skills.
- Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors when required by the job.
Nice To Haves
- Previous equipment rental industry experience.
- Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process.
- Bilingual ability in Spanish or another language may be preferred in some locations.
