About The Position

Moffitt Services is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to serve the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Moffitt Services is a Texas-based fuel and lubricants distributor serving customers that operate heavy equipment, generators, and automotive and truck fleets. Its products include fuels, DEF, and lubricants. This position is home-based and is responsible for managing and developing sales in assigned regions, building customer relationships, and meeting sales targets. Occasional domestic travel is required.

Requirements

At least 3 years of proven fuel and/or lubricants sales experience.
Ability to work independently in a home-based office.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver professional presentations.
Experience with sales CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools.
Valid U.S. driver’s license and a safe driving history.
Occasional domestic travel is required.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in assigned regions.
Direct and coordinate regional sales activities, develop project-specific sales strategies, and communicate project requirements to operations and management.
Perform account management and customer-retention activities.
Target new customers and follow up on assigned sales leads.
Provide updated reporting on target projects and market outlooks for forecasting.
Prepare and update opportunities in the CRM.
Investigate service complaints and help customers find satisfactory solutions to sales and service problems.
Stay current on competitors’ products, pricing, services, and market penetration.
Participate in trade shows, lunch-and-learns, and industry activities.
