About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to generate profitable business from the equipment offered by their profit center. The representative develops an assigned territory, implements sales plans to grow business and retain the current customer base, and helps build the Sunbelt brand. The role offers an entrepreneurial workplace, an opportunity to use cold-calling and closing skills in a high-demand market, and potential career growth in sales or operational management. Compensation includes base pay, a company vehicle, and a commission plan.

Requirements

• A four-year college degree in a related field and at least one year of related experience, or three to four years of related sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Strong project management, new business development, and customer retention skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Solid computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of ground protection, construction, or specialty industrial equipment.
• Spanish bilingual ability may be preferred in some locations.
