About The Position

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for selling products that meet buyers’ needs and building and maintaining long-term business relationships that benefit Colonial Electric Supply. The representative develops an assigned territory in collaboration with the Sales Manager and in alignment with company target markets. The role is remote and requires travel to clients to promote the company’s brand and secure their business. Industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop the assigned territory with the Sales Manager, aligned with company target markets.
• Travel to clients to sell the company’s brand and win their business.
• Handle contract negotiations and any internal processes needed to fulfill contracts.
• Establish customer credit and resolve billing issues.
• Submit monthly expenses.
• Assist customers with product selection.
• Expedite backorders and returns.
• Place purchase orders directly with vendors when needed.
• Attend and participate in affiliated associations.
