About The Position

NFIB is hiring a field-based B2B Outside Sales Representative to drive new membership growth through prospecting, territory management, and face-to-face sales with small business owners. Representatives explain NFIB’s advocacy mission and membership benefits, identify business needs, handle objections, and enroll new members. This is a hunter/closer role using a structured sales process and an assumptive one-call close; there is no account management after the sale, allowing the representative to focus on prospecting and sales. The role offers W-2 employee status, a 100% commission compensation plan with uncapped earning potential, and performance-based training pay for up to 13 weeks. NFIB describes its work as supporting independent businesses through advocacy, public awareness, and member engagement. It is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, member-driven organization that has represented small businesses for more than 80 years.
