About The Position

Air Products is hiring an Outside Sales Representative for the Tampa Bay, Florida territory. The representative will learn about industries that rely on industrial gases and develop targeted sales strategies to grow those markets, with a focus on Microbulk, an alternative to traditional industrial gas delivery methods. The role involves B2B sales of cryogenic gases, including nitrogen, oxygen, and argon, and local travel throughout the assigned territory in a personal vehicle to identify and develop new business opportunities. Local candidates are preferred; relocation assistance is not provided.

Requirements

Four-year degree; prior outside B2B sales experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Be highly teachable and eager to learn.
Ability to work independently.
Strong desire to work in outside sales.
Maintain a positive demeanor.
Ability to overcome objections.
Comfort conducting face-to-face cold calls.
Strong critical-thinking skills.
Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ongoing access to and ability to safely operate a reliable personal vehicle.
