About The Position

Slakey Brothers is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to service new and established accounts for HVAC and plumbing supplies in Santa Rosa, California. The assigned territory covers Marin, Sonoma, Lake, and Mendocino counties. Core business hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. During those hours, the representative will actively work in the sales territory, meet customers in person at business locations and job sites, and participate in other customer activities. Responding to customers may be necessary outside core business hours.

The role introduces and sells HVAC and plumbing supplies to residential and commercial contractors, develops new accounts, and supports customers with bids, quotes, orders, and technical product information. Starting base pay is $80,000–$100,000, with an expected transition to commission within 3–24 months depending on the sales territory. The offered base pay may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Requirements

• Related industry outside sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage details and meet deadlines accurately.
• Customer service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Introduce and sell HVAC and plumbing supplies to residential and commercial contractors.
• Target potential customers and develop new accounts.
• Bid jobs, produce quotes, and process customer orders.
• Provide customers with technical product information.
• Service new and established accounts in the assigned territory.
• Meet customers in person at business locations, job sites, and other customer activities.
• Respond to customers outside core business hours when necessary.
