About The Position

Allegiant Business Group is hiring a field-first Outside Sales Representative And Trainer for a local territory. This role combines outside sales with hands-on training and coaching. The representative meets business owners, presents supplemental benefit solutions to employee groups, and develops their own client portfolio while helping newer sales representatives improve through ride-alongs, debriefs, role-plays, and individual mentoring. The position is a 1099 contractor engagement, not a remote trainer role.

Requirements

Demonstrated success in outside sales or B2B sales.
Prior experience mentoring, training, or coaching sales professionals in the field.
Strong presentation skills, including comfort with one-to-one meetings and groups of 20–75 or more.
Organized, practical, and steady approach, with the ability to follow systems and help others do the same.
Familiarity with CRM systems and a data-driven approach to coaching.
Licensed in Health & Life insurance, or willing to obtain licensure within 90 days.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly within the territory.

Nice To Haves

Experience in benefits, insurance, or related fields.
Familiarity with Salesforce, preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as an outside sales producer in an assigned territory.
Deliver clear, professional benefit presentations to business owners and employee groups.
Conduct ride-alongs, call and meeting debriefs, role-plays, and field coaching for new and developing representatives.
Develop and maintain concise training materials, playbooks, and short coaching modules.
Work with leadership to set realistic activity goals and improve conversion metrics.
Maintain a client portfolio while supporting the growth and retention of the team's production.
