About The Position

Atlanta Flooring Design Centers is a top 5 national retailer and a 100% employee-owned company since January 2024. We are expanding our Commercial Flooring Sales division and seeking experienced sales professionals who desire not only to build a book of business but also to gain an ownership stake in the company. As an employee-owner, you will build real equity in a growing company projected to nearly double in size over the next five to seven years. This role involves developing and managing relationships with key industry players, guiding clients through the sales process, and managing projects from bid to completion, all supported by robust internal teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven B2B or commercial sales experience in flooring, building materials, construction, or a closely related field.
  • Comfort reading blueprints and specs.
  • Experience navigating General Contractor (GC) and bid-cycle relationships.
  • Ability to manage relationships independently.
  • A long-term mindset, focused on building over the next decade.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with general contractors, property owners, architects, and developers across various commercial sectors including healthcare, hospitality, corporate offices, multifamily, education, and government projects.
  • Guide clients through product selection, specification, and pricing, utilizing in-house estimating, procurement, and installation teams.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, from initial bid through installer coordination, site walk-throughs, and job completion.
  • Build a book of business and a pipeline that compounds, leveraging the infrastructure of a large company.
