About The Position

Atlanta Flooring Design Centers is a top 5 national retailer and a 100% employee-owned company since January 2024. We are expanding our Commercial Flooring Sales division and seeking experienced sales professionals who want to build a book of business and have a stake in the company's growth. As an employee-owner, you will not only earn commission but also build equity in a company projected to nearly double in size over the next five to seven years. We offer the infrastructure of a large company, including in-house estimating, procurement, and installation teams, to support your sales efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven B2B or commercial sales experience in flooring, building materials, construction, or a closely related field.
  • Comfort reading blueprints and specs.
  • Experience navigating GC/bid-cycle relationships.
  • Ability to manage relationships independently, with the understanding that a team handles warehousing, delivery, and installation coordination.
  • A long-term mindset focused on building over the next decade.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with general contractors, property owners, architects, and developers across various commercial sectors including healthcare, hospitality, corporate offices, multifamily, education, and government projects.
  • Guide clients through product selection, specification, and pricing.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle from initial bid through installer coordination, site walk-throughs, and job completion.
  • Build a book of business and a pipeline that compounds with the support of a $200M+ company.
