About The Position

Atlanta Flooring Design Centers is a top 5 national retailer and a 100% employee-owned company seeking experienced sales professionals for its Commercial Flooring Sales division. This role offers the opportunity to build a book of business and gain an ownership stake in a rapidly growing company. You will develop and manage relationships with key industry players, guide clients through the flooring lifecycle, and manage projects from bid to completion. The company provides a strong operational infrastructure, including in-house estimating, procurement, and installation teams, allowing sales professionals to focus on selling.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven B2B or commercial sales experience in flooring, building materials, construction, or a closely related field.
  • Comfort reading blueprints and specifications.
  • Experience navigating General Contractor (GC) and bid-cycle relationships.
  • Ability to manage relationships independently.
  • A long-term mindset focused on building business over an extended period.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with general contractors, property owners, architects, and developers across various commercial sectors (healthcare, hospitality, corporate offices, multifamily, education, government).
  • Guide clients through product selection, specification, and pricing.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, from initial bid through installer coordination, site walk-throughs, and job completion.
  • Build and maintain a book of business and a compounding sales pipeline.
