About The Position

Atlanta Flooring Design Centers is a top 5 national retailer and a 100% employee-owned company since January 2024. We are expanding our Commercial Flooring Sales division and seeking experienced sales professionals who want to build their book of business and gain an ownership stake in the company. As an employee-owner, you will build equity in a growing company projected to nearly double in size over the next five to seven years. This role involves developing and managing relationships with key clients in the commercial sector, guiding them through the sales process, and managing projects from bid to completion.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven B2B or commercial sales experience in flooring, building materials, construction, or a closely related field.
  • Comfort reading blueprints and specs.
  • Experience navigating GC/bid-cycle relationships.
  • Ability to manage relationships independently, with the understanding that a team handles warehousing, delivery, and installation coordination.
  • A long-term mindset focused on building over the next decade.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with general contractors, property owners, architects, and developers across various commercial sectors including healthcare, hospitality, corporate offices, multifamily, education, and government projects.
  • Guide clients through product selection, specification, and pricing, utilizing in-house estimating, procurement, and installation teams.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, from initial bid through installer coordination, site walk-throughs, and job completion.
  • Build a book of business and a pipeline that compounds, supported by the infrastructure of a large company.
