About The Position

World Relief seeks an Outreach Coordinator, a position that works as part of the Extended Case Management (ECM) team and is responsible for advancing program enrollment through targeted outreach, partner engagement, and referral development. This role prioritizes outreach activities that lead to direct client referrals from external partners and service providers, with the goal of increasing enrollment in ECM programs. Serving as a key ambassador to community organizations, faith communities, and public agencies, the Outreach Coordinator ensures programs are visible and accessible while maintaining a clear focus on referral quality, enrollment outcomes, and programs with unmet enrollment needs. This role is well‑suited for individuals who enjoy community‑based work, relationship‑building, and outcome‑driven outreach focused on connecting people to services. This is a limited-term position funded through a grant agreement until September 30, 2026, and contingent upon funding extension.

Responsibilities

  • Actively increase program awareness and recruit eligible clients through strategic outreach, community engagement, and referral partnerships.
  • Conduct direct outreach through community events, presentations, workshops, tabling, and virtual or in-person informational sessions.
  • Serve as a point of contact for prospective clients, providing accurate program information and supporting referral and enrollment processes.
  • Follow up with referred or interested clients to encourage successful program enrollment, in collaboration with program teams.
  • Collaborate with the Church & Community Partnership Specialist to build and sustain mutually beneficial partnerships with service providers, health care providers, the Department of Social Services, related organizations, and faith communities, with the goal of increasing client enrollment.
  • Facilitate virtual and in-person meetings with community partners to increase awareness of World Relief Sacramento services and programs.
  • Work in collaboration with the Community Engagement Department to follow up with partners, strengthen referral pipelines, and expand program visibility.
  • Represent World Relief Sacramento across the Sacramento region by attending local network meetings, coalitions, and community events.
  • Create, update, and disseminate client-facing promotional and educational materials; ensure materials are culturally responsive, translated, and accessible for diverse populations.
  • Contribute to outreach-related communication efforts, including coordination with social media, email, or community announcement channels as appropriate.
  • Prioritize outreach efforts toward programs with low or at‑risk enrollment.
  • Coordinate closely with ECM program staff to understand eligibility criteria, capacity, and enrollment timelines.
  • Track outreach‑to‑enrollment conversion trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Identify common barriers to enrollment and recommend solutions to supervisors and program teams.
  • Collaborate with Intake and Program staff to verify intake, eligibility, and enrollment workflows, including clarifying roles and responsibilities related to documentation, case notes, and information sharing for client case files.
  • Track outreach activities, partner engagements, referrals, and client enrollments in designated systems and databases (e.g., Dynamics, Microsoft Teams).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contact records for partners and community members for reporting and compliance purposes.
  • Monitor outreach outcomes against enrollment and engagement goals and share insights with supervisors and program staff to improve outreach strategies.
  • Support reporting requirements related to grants, contracts, or internal performance metrics as assigned.
  • Support with interpretation for workshops/cohorts
  • Collaborate effectively across World Relief Sacramento staff and departments to align outreach efforts with program capacity and organizational priorities.
  • Attend department meetings, team meetings, and internal or external World Relief meetings as requested.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
