About The Position

Northeast Family Services is seeking licensed clinicians for hybrid outpatient work at its New Rochelle and Bronx clinic locations. The role focuses on providing high-quality, evidence-based, trauma-focused care to clients who have experienced trauma, including PTSD and complex trauma. Clinicians should bring TF-CBT training or certification, clinical expertise, and a compassionate presence. The position is fee-for-service, with flexible scheduling and premium compensation for bilingual skills, experience, and selected clinical specialties. A language differential is available for Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Hindi.

Requirements

• Active New York State LCSW or LMHC-D license.
• TF-CBT training or certification.
• Experience treating complex trauma and PTSD.
• Comfort working with trauma survivors.
• Access to a laptop or CPS, secure internet, and a phone.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice To Haves

• Capacity to provide services in Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian, or Hindi.
• Experience and select clinical specialties, for which premiums are paid.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trauma assessment and case conceptualization.
• Perform safety planning and suicide risk assessment.
• Use grounding techniques and support emotional regulation.
• Apply cognitive restructuring and reframing.
• Build therapeutic alliances with trauma survivors.
• Use cultural humility and a trauma-sensitive approach.
• Provide family therapy and attachment-focused interventions.
• Complete documentation and treatment planning.
