Outpatient Therapist TF-CBT
About The Position
Real Help is seeking a licensed, trauma-informed clinician with TF-CBT training and experience treating PTSD and complex trauma. The clinician will provide evidence-based outpatient therapy to clients who have experienced trauma, using clinical expertise and a compassionate approach. The position is fee-for-service, fully telehealth, and offers flexible scheduling. Real Help provides clients and tools, along with supervision, professional development, free continuing education units, and licensure assistance. Compensation is $70–$100 per hour, with premium rates for bilingual skills, specialties, and experience. Language differentials are available for Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Hindi.
Requirements
- Active New York State LCSW or LMHC-D license.
- TF-CBT training or certification.
- Experience treating complex trauma and PTSD.
- Comfort working with trauma survivors.
- Access to a laptop or CPS, secure internet, and a phone.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.; the company cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual skills in Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian, or Hindi; language differentials are provided.
- Specialties and additional experience may qualify for premium rates.
Responsibilities
- Conduct trauma assessment and case conceptualization.
- Create safety plans and assess suicide risk.
- Use grounding techniques and emotional regulation skills.
- Apply cognitive restructuring and reframing.
- Build therapeutic alliances with trauma survivors.
- Use cultural humility and a trauma-sensitive approach.
- Provide family therapy and attachment-focused interventions.
- Complete documentation and treatment planning.
