About The Position

As a Server, you will provide warm, attentive, and personalized service to guests, helping create a welcoming atmosphere and uphold the standards and reputation of Omni Hotel & Resorts. The role involves serving food and beverages, responding to guest needs, and helping create memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time position in Food & Beverage.

Requirements

At least 1 year of serving experience, preferably in a high-volume and casual environment or an upscale hotel restaurant outlet.
Agree to and follow compensation acknowledgement and tip reporting guidelines.
Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer.
Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
Have an unexpired Food Handler credential upon hire.
Ability to lift, push, pull, place, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Acknowledge and greet guests, anticipate their needs, and respond to inquiries or requests.
Provide friendly, professional service to members and guests according to proper steps of service.
Maintain familiarity with menus and beverage offerings, including wine service.
Complete station setup, breakdown, and side work.
Polish and clean water glassware at the assigned station during each shift.
Take food and beverage orders and upsell when possible.
Greet guests pleasantly, smile, and use guests’ surnames when obtained.
Send orders using MICROS systems.
Communicate meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the culinary team.
Notify the Restaurant Manager immediately of guest suggestions, complaints, or issues.
Present accurate checks and process payments.
Assist with seating guests and answering restaurant phones as needed.
Cross-train among other food and beverage outlets as needed.
Perform other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager.
