About The Position

HubSpot is seeking an Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their team. This role is for individuals who are passionate about sales, driven by results, and looking to build a long-term career in tech sales. As a BDR, you will be the initial point of contact for prospects, responsible for sparking conversations through strategic outreach, identifying customer pain points, and qualifying leads. You will collaborate with Account Executives to generate high-quality meetings that contribute to pipeline growth and revenue. This position is designed as the first step in a structured BDR program, offering opportunities for skill development and career advancement within HubSpot's sales organization.

  • Either have past sales success or have demonstrated excellence in goal-driven roles (think: fundraising, athletics, service industry, etc).

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute outbound prospecting through high-volume outreach (60–100+ activities/day) via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to target strategic accounts and refine outreach strategy.
  • Qualify leads based on fit, need, and urgency — and book quality discovery meetings.
  • Hit (and exceed) KPIs for activity, meetings delivered, and pipeline impact.
  • Grow fast. Learn fast. Get coached. Apply it. Repeat.
