About The Position

Concentra is seeking an orthopedic surgeon to provide on-site services as a 1099 independent contractor. The role is intended to complement the surgeon’s current practice, typically involving patient care at a Concentra location for approximately a four-hour shift once a week or every other week. Scheduling is flexible, with consideration for the surgeon’s private practice.

Concentra Advanced Specialists help manage medically complex patients, expedite return to work, and support functional restoration. Working collaboratively with medical and therapy providers, the surgeon provides non-surgical and surgical specialist services for work-related orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. The surgeon also communicates with employers and actively participates in case management. Compensation is determined through a revenue-share model.

Requirements

• Meet the licensure requirements of the state of practice.
• Graduate from an accredited MD or DO program at an accredited university.
• Hold an unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
• Be board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Maintain medical malpractice insurance that covers services while on site.

• Experience treating patients with work-related injuries.
