About The Position

Surgical Affiliates Management Group, Inc. (SAMGI) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Per Diem Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at Banner Lassen Medical Center. Nestled near the beautiful Susan River, this opportunity combines professional growth with an enviable outdoor lifestyle. The position offers a diverse case mix of acute and elective orthopedic cases, focusing on general sports medicine and bread-and-butter arthroplasty. It includes protected OR time, with both inpatient and outpatient care responsibilities. The role requires a 60-minute call back time.

Requirements

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
• Current or recent experience in general orthopedics, acute fractures, and sports injuries
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong commitment to patient care and outcomes

Nice To Haves

• Competency in arthroplasty
• Possession of or eligibility for a California Medical License

Responsibilities

• Perform a diverse case mix of acute and elective orthopedic cases, focusing on general sports medicine and bread-and-butter arthroplasty.
• Utilize protected OR time for dedicated surgical hours.
• Provide inpatient rounding at Banner Lassen Medical Center.
• Conduct follow-up care at a well-appointed clinic located 5 minutes away.
• Be available for call with a 60-minute call back time.
