About The Position

Surgical Affiliates Management Group, Inc. (SAMGI) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Per Diem Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at Banner Lassen Medical Center. Nestled near the beautiful Susan River, this opportunity combines professional growth with an enviable outdoor lifestyle. The role involves a diverse case mix of acute and elective orthopedic cases, focusing on general sports medicine and bread-and-butter arthroplasty. The position offers protected OR time, with both inpatient rounding and outpatient follow-up care. Call requirements include a 60-minute call back time.

Requirements

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
• Current or recent experience in general orthopedics, acute fractures, and sports injuries
• Competency in arthroplasty is a plus
• Possession of or eligibility for a California Medical License
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong commitment to patient care and outcomes

Responsibilities

• Perform a balanced blend of acute and elective orthopedic cases, focusing on general sports medicine and bread-and-butter arthroplasty.
• Utilize protected OR time for dedicated surgical hours.

• Conduct follow-up care at a well-appointed clinic.
• Be available for call with a 60-minute call back time.
