About The Position

Concentra is seeking an orthopedic surgeon to provide on-site services as a 1099 independent contractor, in a role designed to complement an existing practice. A typical arrangement involves treating patients at a Concentra location for approximately four hours once per week or every other week. Concentra Advanced Specialists help manage medically complex patients, expedite return to work, and support functional restoration. The surgeon works collaboratively with medical and therapy providers to provide non-surgical and surgical specialist services for work-related orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. The role also involves communicating with employers and taking an active part in case management. Compensation is determined through a revenue-share model. Requirements

• Meet the licensure requirements of the state of practice.
• Graduate from an accredited MD or DO program at an accredited university.
• Hold an unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
• Be board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Maintain medical malpractice insurance that covers services provided on site.
