About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for an Orthopedic Surgeon in Bullhead City, AZ. The role involves providing orthopedic surgical services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The coverage is ongoing, starting ASAP. The physician will participate in call coverage with a 100% call ratio and a 15-minute response time. The average daily patient volume is 5-7, with 6 or fewer admissions. Rounding and phone consults are required. The facility uses Athena/Medhost EMR systems. This coverage is needed due to call.

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Arizona license
• Active DEA Certification
• Experience with Arthroscopy
• Experience with Total Joint replacement (Hip, Knee, Other)
• Experience with Joint revision or repair (Shoulder, Hip, Knee, Other)
• Experience with instrumentation (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar)
• Experience without instrumentation (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar)
• Experience with Percutaneous disc surgery

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Hand procedures
• Experience with Tendon release/repair
• Experience with Peripheral nerve surgery

Responsibilities

• Provide orthopedic surgical services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
