About The Position

Concentra is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to provide services on site as a 1099 independent contractor. The role is intended to complement the surgeon’s current practice. A typical partnership involves treating patients at a Concentra location for approximately four hours per shift on a weekly or biweekly basis. Scheduling is flexible, with consideration of the surgeon’s private practice. Compensation is determined by a revenue-share model.

Concentra Advanced Specialists help manage medically complex patients, expedite return to work, and support functional restoration. Working collaboratively with medical and therapy providers, the surgeon provides non-surgical and surgical specialist services for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries. The surgeon also communicates with employers and takes an active role in case management.

Requirements

• Meet the licensure requirements of the state of practice.
• Graduate from an accredited MD or DO program at an accredited university.
• Hold an unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
• Be board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Have medical malpractice insurance that covers services provided on site.
