Orthopedic Surgeon
About The Position
Concentra is seeking an orthopedic surgeon to provide on-site care as a 1099 independent contractor. The role is intended to complement the surgeon’s current practice, with a typical partnership involving approximately a four-hour shift at a Concentra location weekly or biweekly. Concentra Advanced Specialists help manage medically complex patients, expedite return to work, and support functional restoration. Working collaboratively with medical and therapy providers, the surgeon provides non-surgical and surgical specialist services for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries. The surgeon also communicates with employers and takes an active role in case management. Compensation is determined by a revenue-share model.
Requirements
- Meet the licensure requirements of the state of practice.
- Graduate from an accredited MD or DO program at an accredited university.
- Hold an unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
- Be board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Have medical malpractice insurance that covers work while on site.

- Experience treating patients with work-related injuries.
Responsibilities
