About The Position
Healthcare system is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to work in Hobart, IN. This is a full-time, permanent position with an inpatient and outpatient practice. The role involves a mixture of bread and butter procedures, sports medicine, total joint, and trauma. The hospital is a 200-bed facility and the Orthopedic Surgery department has a team of 6 surgeons. The practice model is hospital-employed, and the group is collegial, offering mentorship and support. The healthcare system is experiencing significant growth and expansion across physician service lines. The position utilizes EPIC EMR systems, which are fully integrated and HIMSS Stage VII certified.
Requirements
- Fellowship Trained Orthopedic Surgeon
- BC/BE Orthopedics
- Ability to hold an Indiana State Medical License
- H1B Visa if necessary

Responsibilities
- Perform a mixture of bread and butter orthopedic procedures, sports medicine, total joint, and trauma surgeries.
- Engage in both inpatient and outpatient practice.
- Participate in a 1:6 call rotation.
- Utilize EPIC EMR systems in Inpatient & Outpatient settings.
