About The Position
Children’s Dental FunZone is hiring a full-time Dental Ortho Treatment Coordinator to help families navigate their child’s dental care in a fun, welcoming environment. The role presents and explains orthodontic treatment plans, supports parents in understanding recommended care, and coordinates appointments for a smooth patient experience. It also focuses on improving treatment case acceptance through education, trust-building, and effective communication, while helping families understand treatment options and financial arrangements. The coordinator works with the dental team to support excellent care and a positive experience for every family.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dental sales and orthodontic treatment coordination.
- Must enjoy working with children and families.
- Strong customer service and sales background.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Energetic, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
- Spanish bilingual proficiency is required.
- Motivated, goal-driven, and eager to grow within the company.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Dentrix.
- Familiarity with dental insurance plans, including PPO, HMO, and Denti-Cal.
Responsibilities
- Present and explain orthodontic treatment plans, options, and financial arrangements to patients and parents.
- Provide an exceptional patient experience through clear and compassionate communication.
- Educate patients on oral health, treatment procedures, and preventive care.
- Verify and manage PPO, HMO, and Denti-Cal insurance plans.
- Use electronic billing systems efficiently.
- Offer flexible payment solutions and financing options.
- Coordinate appointments and collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Support case acceptance through education, trust-building, and effective communication.
