About The Position

Children’s Dental FunZone is hiring a patient-focused Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to help families navigate their child’s dental care in a friendly, welcoming environment. The coordinator presents and explains orthodontic treatment plans, helps parents understand recommended care and financial arrangements, and coordinates appointments for a smooth patient experience. The role also supports case acceptance by educating families, building trust, explaining treatment options, reviewing insurance and payment arrangements, and guiding decisions that support oral health. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday with some Saturday shifts; the practice is closed Sundays. Compensation is $23.00–$28.00 per hour plus bonuses. Children’s Dental FunZone is a pediatric dental practice with over 20 locations across Southern California, serving children, toddlers, and teens.

Requirements

• Proven experience in dental sales and orthodontic treatment coordination.
• Enjoy working with children and families.
• Strong customer service and sales background.
• Bilingual in Spanish; required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Energetic, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
• Motivated, goal-driven, and eager to grow within the company.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Dentrix (preferred).
• Familiarity with dental insurance plans, including PPO, HMO, and Denti-Cal.

Responsibilities

• Present and explain orthodontic treatment plans, options, and financial arrangements to patients and parents.
• Provide an exceptional patient experience through clear and compassionate communication.
• Educate patients on oral health, treatment procedures, and preventive care.
• Verify and manage PPO, HMO, and Denti-Cal insurance plans.
• Use electronic billing systems efficiently.
• Offer flexible payment solutions and financing options.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Support case acceptance through education, trust-building, and effective communication.
• Coordinate appointments to support a smooth patient experience.
