About The Position

At Catholic Early EdCare, we shape the early years of children’s lives through a vibrant network of early childhood education services. We are currently in an exciting phase, rolling out major strategic initiatives and milestone projects focused on investing in our workforce, elevating our culture, and supporting our leaders. We are seeking an Organisational Development Specialist for an initial 9-month contract to contribute to the continuous development of employee engagement.

Requirements

  • Successfully managed and implemented leadership development programs.
  • Experience in making training effective and changing behaviours.
  • A Project Management Mindset with clear timelines, milestones, and change management.
  • Experience with surveys, organisational skills, and an improvement mindset.
  • Exceptional People Skills: ability to build rapport, listen with empathy, and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Current Queensland Working with Children Check, Blue Card.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the early childhood education sector.

Responsibilities

  • Managing, refining, and rolling out a core leadership training and development program.
  • Supporting initiatives that strengthen culture, leadership effectiveness, employee experience, and organisational capability.
  • Designing employee engagement initiatives.
  • Supporting culture-building programs.
  • Enhancing the overall employee experience.
  • Overseeing the company-wide rewards and recognition program, including promotion, tracking, and communication (e.g., Monthly Team Lunches & Employee of the Month).
  • Planning and assisting with leadership development events such as professional development days, conferences, and focus groups.
  • Developing and executing communication strategies that drive engagement and participation in key initiatives.
