About The Position

Jerry.ai is seeking an Organic Growth Lead to spearhead content quality and output across its platforms, including jerry.ai and external channels. This role is crucial for building and leading a system that establishes Jerry as an authoritative source across all customer touchpoints. The position focuses on optimizing content for both traditional search engines (SEO) and emerging Answer Engines (AEO), ensuring Jerry appears in responses from AI models like ChatGPT and Claude. The goal is to drive customer acquisition through high-quality, accurate, and engaging content that directly impacts the company's top and bottom line growth.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
Editorial taste with an understanding of impactful writing for both humans and LLMs.
Insatiable desire to learn about rapidly evolving domains like AI answer engines and content discovery optimization.
Proficiency in AI and LLMs, with the ability to use them for drafting, research, synthesis, automation, and amplification.
Reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities

Build content that ranks on Google and earns citations in AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) regarding insurance, maintenance, or repairs.
Structure web pages to optimize for AI answer engines, ensuring Jerry's answers are surfaced.
Extend visibility by staying abreast of SEO and AEO developments to attract new users to jerry.ai.
Track Jerry's online presence and identify/address gaps.
Own Jerry's editorial strategy across jerry.ai and external channels, defining content, placement, and rationale, with attached organic traffic and customer acquisition targets.
Set the content roadmap and advocate for necessary resource allocation.
Design and operate an AI-powered content production system, including brief creation, AI drafting, human editing, quality assurance, and publishing.
Implement quality controls and drift metrics to maintain content quality as volume increases.
Determine the appropriate balance between AI-generated content and human oversight.
Set and enforce Jerry's editorial standards for both human writers and AI agents.
Establish infrastructure for content credibility, including named authors, sourced claims, and transparent review processes.
