About The Position

Jerry.ai is seeking an Organic Growth Lead to oversee content quality and output across its platforms (jerry.ai and external sites). This role is crucial for building a system that establishes Jerry.ai as an authoritative source everywhere customers seek answers, especially in the rapidly evolving landscape of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). The lead will be responsible for driving customer acquisition through content that ranks on Google and earns citations in AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.

Requirements

Editorial taste with an understanding of impactful writing for both humans and LLMs.
Insatiable desire to learn about rapidly evolving domains like answer engines and content optimization.
Proficiency as an LLM power user, skilled in using AI for drafting, research, synthesis, automation, and amplification.
Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

Build content that ranks on Google and earns citations in AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) about insurance, maintenance, or repairs.
Structure pages to ensure AI answer engines surface Jerry's answers.
Extend visibility by staying on top of SEO & AEO developments to put Jerry in front of new audiences.
Track Jerry's online presence and identify/close visibility gaps.
Own Jerry's editorial engine across jerry.ai and external channels, defining content strategy, publication channels, and rationale.
Set organic traffic and customer acquisition targets for content initiatives.
Defend resource allocation for content strategy against competing priorities.
Design and operate an AI-powered content production system: brief → AI draft → human edit → QA → publish.
Build quality controls and drift metrics to maintain output quality as volume increases.
Determine the appropriate balance between AI-generated content and human oversight.
Set and enforce Jerry's editorial standards for writers and AI agents.
Establish infrastructure for content credibility, including named authors, sourced claims, and transparent review processes.
