About The Position

The Order Puller performs warehouse functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving warehouse stock. The role assists with shipping and receiving, maintains orderly storage and work areas, and follows safety requirements.

Requirements

• One to two years of warehouse-related experience in shipping and receiving.
• Excellent work ethic and the ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player.
• Qualified applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 10–50 lbs.; occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing more than 100 lbs.
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally sit and climb or balance.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with reach trucks, forklifts, and order pickers.
• Experience with carbon flanges and fittings.
• Experience on a sit-down forklift, stand-up reach truck, or picker.

Responsibilities

• Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat; sweep, dust, and mop.
• Organize the warehouse and work area to maintain orderliness.
• Wear proper safety equipment and strictly observe safety rules.
• Pick and fill orders from stock, and pack and ship orders as needed.
• Manage, organize, and retrieve stock as needed.
