About The Position

The Order Puller performs warehouse functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock. The role is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Requirements

• One to two years of warehouse-related experience in shipping and receiving.
• Excellent work ethic and ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player.
• Strictly observe all safety rules.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 10–50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing more than 100 pounds.
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally sit and climb or balance.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with reach trucks, forklifts, and order pickers.
• Experience with carbon flanges and fittings.
• Experience on a sit-down forklift, stand-up reach truck, or picker.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat; sweep, dust, and mop.
• Organize the warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Wear proper safety equipment at all times.
• Receive and process incoming stock and materials, pick and fill orders, pack and ship orders, and manage, organize, and retrieve warehouse stock as needed.
