About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Supervisor, referred to in the description as the Omni Supervisor, leads Omni operations and team members within a BJ’s Wholesale Club. Working closely with the Assistant Club Manager, this role supports club performance and member experience, administers digital fulfillment initiatives—including BOPIC, Same Day Delivery, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club—and ensures established policies, procedures, service standards, and productivity expectations are met.

The supervisor oversees order picking, staging, verification, packing, shipping, returns, inventory and equipment issue reporting, and upkeep of the Omni work area. They coach, train, and assess team members; support staffing, hiring, and performance management; use reporting to monitor results and identify operational improvements; and maintain a safe, clean, organized environment. The role may also involve working in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience overseeing a team of 5 or more employees in a professional setting.
• Ability to set performance goals, meet deadlines, organize workflow, assign tasks, support staff, monitor productivity, and report to Assistant Club Management.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including engaging team members, supervising cross-functional teams, training, and communicating results.
• Ability to own and deliver strategic initiatives and objectives.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding service to members.
• Open shift availability is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Computer proficiency is required.
• Ability to move frequently on hard surfaces and occasionally bend, handle, pull, reach, or stoop to examine or scan merchandise.
• Frequently lift objects up to 50 pounds; may need to lift and move heavier or awkward objects over 50 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Omni operations and team members, supporting club performance and an outstanding member experience.
• Administer digital initiatives, including BOPIC, Same Day Delivery, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club.
• Pick, verify, stage, and process member orders using pick lists and handheld RF scanner devices; meet productivity expectations and service-level agreements.
• Update merchandise locations and maintain organized product placement and staging areas.
• Identify inventory discrepancies, expired or short-dated items, and equipment problems; communicate issues and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure operational processes and productivity standards are followed for BOPIC, BOPIC Fresh, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Teach, coach, and train Omni Experience Ambassadors on club procedures and order-pulling practices.
• Assess team-member performance, provide feedback, develop talent, and assist with hiring, training, and performance management.
• Support appropriate staffing across departments and communicate relevant information to Club Leadership and the Assistant Club Manager.
• Provide service support and empower team members to address member concerns; maintain member-service standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized Omni area, including storage bins; perform housekeeping and remove trash and cardboard.
• Print staging tickets, packing slips, shipping labels, and related documents; securely package orders according to standard procedures.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to procedures; process returns and determine how they should be handled.
• Review and manage daily and weekly Omni reporting, ordering, and replenishment of department supplies.
• Maintain club policies and procedures, including dress code, and work in other departments as needed.
• Attend work regularly and predictably, as full attendance is an essential function of the job.
